Adoption EventsAdoption events allow us to bring our adoptable pets to a public area for potential new families to meet and interact with the animal that they are interested in bringing home. The Humane Society does not have a fixed location and adoption events are about the only way to get our adoptable pets safely out into public. To host an adoption event certain criteria must be met to ensure our animals stay safe. Criteria includes having a shaded or climate controlled location, away from busy streets and loud noises and an area where potential adopters can meet adoptable pets in a controlled environment. Many of our adoption events include logo-ware and hot dog sales. Our adoption events are always kid-friendly.
