Humane Society of Lawton-Comanche County
About Us

The Humane Society of Lawton-Comanche County was founded in 1986. We work in close partnership with Lawton Animal Welfare and other local shelters, businesses and organizations to accomplish our mission. Our primary focus is to eliminate the needless euthanasia of healthy, adoptable animals in Lawton and Comanche County. We believe that Lawton and the surrounding community will see a day when every healthy and adoptable pet finds a home. Since our beginning in 1986, we have found homes for over 2000 pets and have spayed, neutered or provided veterinary care for over 4000 animals.
There is no physical address for the Humane Society. We have an answering service that will take your calls 24/7.
You can contact us by dialing 580-355-7729. The answering service will forward your message to a volunteer who will contact  you within 24 hours of your call. You may also reach us through the Humane Society of Lawton Facebook page.
For emergency animal care needs, please contact Lawton Animal Welfare at 580-581-3218.
